The Science Popularization Center of the Silesian University of Technology (SPC), established in 2017, is an extra-faculty organizational unit of the Silesian University of Technology which is promoting and popularizing science and research studies in cooperation with other University units and research centers in Poland and abroad.
And using simple terms? Well, SPC is a place where employees, PhD students and students of the Silesian University of Technology talk about science in an uncomplicated way. They discuss and present their research accomplishments, inventions and technologies, they inculcate scientific passion and enthusiasm in everyone who wants to join them in discovering the world of science. Lectures, workshops, laboratories, picnics and festivals, exhibitions, films and popular science articles – this is the daily bread and butter of SPC.
The Science Popularization Center of the Silesian University of Technology is a meeting place of scientists with the society, where everyone, regardless of their age or education, can find something for themselves.
